CONNY HANCOCK

Conny is a South West based theatre maker with experience in acting, directing, producing and writing. Conny graduated with a first class (BA) Hons Acting degree from Plymouth Conservatoire in 2020. With a passion for creating feminist theatre, Conny is best known for ‘Nhair’ a one woman show about her journey with PCOS, written, produced and performed by Conny.
Conny has been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) since 2015. Since 2021 Conny has been creating content on social media to spread awareness of PCOS and its symptoms, and created a space for body positivity. This ethos of has found a strong audience for Conny's one-woman show 'Nhair' which was supported by the UK's leading PCOS charity Verity as well as also on Conny's social media platforms.
